David W. MacLennan was elected as Admission Possible Vice Chair and Chair Elect in June 2006 and assumed the role of Chairman of the Board in January 2008.  David serves as Corporate Vice President of Cargill, Incorporated with responsibilities for the Animal Protein, Financial Services, and Energy, Transportation and Industrial platforms.  He joined Cargill in 1991 and has held several management positions with Cargill.  Prior to joining Cargill, David was Senior Vice President with LIT America in Chicago and President of Fixed Income Capital Markets at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis.  Currently he also serves on the Boards of the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and Wrightwood Capital, a Chicago-based real estate finance company. David holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Amherst College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
