Melissa Boocock Soderberg
Melissa Soderberg leads college counseling at Breck School, where she has worked since 1993. Melissa joined Breck as Dean of Students for the Upper School. Prior to Breck, Melissa was Assistant College Advisor at St. George's School in Newport, Rhode Island from 1988 to 1993. Throughout her years in college counseling, Melissa has coached, taught history and regularly taken on administrative responsibilities, including disciplinary, curriculum and leadership committee assignments. Melissa is active in college admissions affairs both nationally and regionally, and is very involved in the Minnesota Association of College Admission Counseling. She earned her M.A. in Educational Administration from Columbia University and her B.A. from Middlebury College. The child of a headmaster, Melissa grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She and her husband, John have two sons.
