On May 13, 2006, Admission Possible celebrated the end of the year with a graduation ceremony on the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities campus. It was our largest graduation event yet, with a total of 598 juniors and seniors as well as admitted sophomores in attendance.
Juniors and seniors from Admission Possible's then nine Minneapolis and St. Paul high schools were honored for their achievements in ACT testing, college preparation, and college admission. Seniors who had the largest ACT score increases and who applied to the most scholarships were honored with awards. Selected juniors and seniors were honored for the best attendance at Admission Possible sessions during the past school year. The entire group of students had a chance to win two bikes as door prizes and all sophomores and juniors also had a chance to win an additional door prize.
We were delighted to have some Admission Possible board members, former AmeriCorps members, and other friends of Admission Possible also in attendance at our graduation event!
