Brooke Hanson
As a Program Manager at Admission Possible, Brooke has her fingers in many different aspects of the organization. In this second year, Brooke supports the eight AmeriCorps members who work with the Admission Possible alumni, coordinate campus visits and other events, and maintain good relationships with our Consortium schools.
Brooke’s passion for equity in education and social justice are what drew her to Admission Possible in 2004 when she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA, working with the then 360 alumni. A brief stint organic farming in Ireland, and she was back to another year of AmeriCorps VISTA, this time with Minnesota Campus Compact, where she worked with their college access and success initiative.
Brooke holds a B.A. in both Sociocultural Studies and Spanish from Bethel University. She is a new transplant from Minneapolis to St. Paul but enjoys all that Twin Cities has to offer—from great restaurants to the bike trails—and tries to spend loads of time with family and friends.
