Two Minnesota Men to Run 100 Miles to Make College Admission Possible
Patrick O’Shaughnessy and Scott Penticoff have set a goal neither of these experienced runners would have imagined just a year ago: run 100 miles through the Himalayan Mountains of India for five days straight! The two Minnesota natives are hoping to inspire low-income high school students to dream big and set high goals – goals to get into college!
Patrick and Scott are encouraging individuals to make a pledge or donation to Admission Possible in support of this 100-mile journey benefiting promising low-income high school students and their goal of a college education.
The five-day running stage race through the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, will take place November 3-7, 2008.
