Humboldt Senior High School offers a comprehensive curriculum with high expectations and rigor for all students.  Preparing all students for post-secondary education and the world of work is the school’s top priority. Entering students join the Ninth Grade Academy where they are assigned to a block for the core courses of English, math, and science.  The advisory program focuses on relationships, rights, and responsibility and continues to develop students by implementing a six-year plan. Students may be accelerated based on their skills. As students’ high school careers progress, their skills are more fully developed, and their interests and career exploration more clearly defined, students will be able to select a themed academy. In their academies, students will focus on expanded opportunities in career exploration, Post Secondary School Enrollment, Advanced Placement, College in the Schools, internships, and planning for life after high school.  Each student has the opportunity to participate in Advance Placement courses, College in the Schools, languages, fine arts, and JROTC.   Humboldt Senior High School also is positioning itself for future growth by engaging in a three-part strategic effort that includes: exploring expanded senior high programs and educational opportunities to better serve students; dramatically improving the physical appearance of the campus; and increasing communication with the Humboldt and broader Saint Paul community.
