As a College Program Coordinator, Kong works with college coaches to ensure the success of Admission Possible college students.  Kong brings his passion and skill for working with young leaders to Admission Possible.

Kong is a St. Paul native and a 2001 graduate of Humboldt High School.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.  Upon his graduation, Kong spent his first two professional years developing community youth-based initiatives in St. Paul’s West Side neighborhood with the Center for Democracy and Citizenship (CDC).  During his work with the CDC he collaborated with community, local government and education members to create opportunities for youth to become leaders and contributors of their communities.  Following a one-year teaching experience in Korea, Kong joined Admission Possible in 2009.

Kong and his wife reside in St. Paul and both enjoy the diverse culture of the Twin Cities.  When he is not working, Kong enjoys being active and traveling.  He likes to play basketball and fish in the many lakes Minnesota has to offer.  In addition, you can often find Kong sketching or talking about his favorite movies.
