Admission Possible is transformed by the generous support of the William W. and Nadine M. McGuire Family Foundation

Dr. William McGuire and his family announced plans for significant gifts to Admission Possible, the University of Minnesota and LearningWorks at The Blake School in 2005 to help hundreds more low-income students prepare for college, apply to college and afford college.

The McGuire gift of $1.5 million over three years to Admission Possible has helped us grow the number of students we serve in the Twin Cities by nearly 120 percent from the 2005-06 academic year to today.  This extradordinary gift made it possible for Admission Possible to grow from serving 600 students in nine high schools to helping 1,300 students in 17 Greater Twin Cities public high schools with our programming in the 2008-09 academic year.  Our heart-felt thanks go the McGuire family for their generosity and vision.

We hope others continue to be inspired by their call for investment in the future of Minnesota's children.
