In just eight years, Admission Possible has built a strong reputation in Minnesota for helping promising, low-income high school students earn admission to college. Wilder Foundation Research, an independent external evaluator, captured the program's success in an evalution report. Here are several snapshots of our results:
- Overall, 98% of the students we assisted have been admitted to college—100% of the seniors we assisted in the classes of 2005 and 2006 were admitted to college. 99% of the 320 Admission Possible students in the class of 2007 were admitted to college, and 94% of them were admitted into four-year institutions.
- Approximately 80% of our students who enrolled in college are still working toward their college degree or have graduated. Click here to see where our alumni attend college. By comparison, only 7% of all low-income students nationwide earn a college degree by age 24 (Education Trust). Click here to see graduation rates from Minnesota colleges and universities.
