MLK Day of Service
On January 21, 2008 Admission Possible participated in MLK Day of Service. The organization joined other members of the community for a rally at Central High School in St. Paul followed by a march to Concordia University where individuals spoke to the importance of Martin Luther King Junior's message and legacy. Admission Possible spent the afternoon volunteering at People Helping People in Minneapolis. The day marked a wonderful opportunity to engage in service to the community and energize the organization to continue working  | | Admission Possible students carrying bags of donated items for flood relief in Southeast Minnesota. |

National Make A Difference Day
On Saturday October 27th, more than 500 Admission Possible students joined current and former AmeriCorps and Leadership Team members for National Make a Difference Day at the Minneapolis Sports Center.
The day began with students Trick-or-Treating for canned goods in neighborhoods throughout the Twin Cities. Students collected 4,749 pounds of food, which was transported by Channel-One Food Bank of Rochester to assist the families affected by  | | AmeriCorps member Adrian Perryman entertaining students during Make a Difference Day. |
recent floods in Southeast Minnesota.
After gathering at the Sports Center, students participated in a number of service stations including: loading collected food items into the truck; making gift tags for the Make-A-Wish Foundation; and making cards and placemats for Camp Heartland, the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, and the Cancer Kid's Fund of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Students were provided with lunch courtesy of Little Caesars and entertained by AmeriCorps member Adrian Perryman who was the event's DJ and balloon animal creator.
