While Admission Possible students are busy meeting with their coaches, studying for the ACT, and preparing their college applications, they also have many opportunities outside of school hours to attend campus visits and participate in community service projects.
Every year, Admission Possible works with local and national colleges and universities to organize campus visits, which ensure that Admission Possible students are continually exposed to college life and inspired to keep reaching for their goal of college admission. Most visits include campus tours, presentations by students and the staffs of the Admissions and financial aid offices, and the opportunity to attend a class. In the spring, campus visits are often combined with practice ACT exams for juniors.
Another important element of the Admission Possible program is Community Service. All students are asked to give at least eight hours annually to projects which include hosting college readiness workshops for 9th and 10th grade students and participating in National Make a Difference Day. These opportunities to serve help to instill in our students an ethic of service and a commitment to helping to improve our world.
