As the Operations Coordinator for Admission Possible, Paula is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the agency, including human resources, finance and accounting, information technology, purchasing and office management.

Paula brings to this position a varied background in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. The common thread throughout her career has been human resources and general operations. It is the mission focus that attracts Paula to an organization and role. Prior to joining Admission Possible, Paula was working for an agency that serves as an emergency food shelf to individuals and families in need. In that role, more than any other in her career, she saw first-hand some of the systemic causes of poverty and is committed to supporting ways to break the cycles of poverty for individuals and families that want to help themselves. Admission Possible, with its focus on putting higher education within reach for low-income students, is an organization that changes lives. Paula looks forward to contributing to Admission Possible and being a part of this work.

Before joining Admission Possible, Paula earned degrees from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Oregon State University, respectively in liberal arts and business. In her professional career she has worked for two of the venerable institutions of Saint Paul, The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation and William Mitchell College of Law. A native Minnesotan and long-time resident of “the other side of the river,” Paula now resides in the Highland Park neighborhood of Saint Paul with her family, Greg and Maxwell, and is discovering the charm of the other Twin City.
