Hello! My name is Beka and I am very excited about working with Admission Possible as a Junior Coach in 08-09. I was born and raised right here in St. Paul, MN. Although I moved to our rival neighbor state for college at The University of Wisconsin Madison, I still consider myself a Minnesota girl. I have spent a significant amount of my life soaked in chlorine as I was a water bug as a child, a swimmer in high school and played water polo through college. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (with a minor in Integrated Liberal Studies and African Studies). In the end, I learned a lot and am excited about continuing this life long endeavor.  I was fortunate enough to be able to spend four months of my undergraduate career in Kenya. Among many other things I picked up a few token Swahili phrases that I am still prone to use. Although Madison, the swimming pool, and Kenya will undoubtedly hold a special place in my heart forever, it is good to be back in the Twin Cities and I am excited about working with my students and fellow coaches.
