Roosevelt High School has an 82 year tradition of excellence, providing all students with challenging academic courses to prepare them for success at technical colleges and universities.

The class of 2004 was awarded over $450,000 in college scholarships, with alumni providing over $15,000 in awards.

Roosevelt provides exclusive learning opportunities, such as its American Sign Language and Arabic language programs, and is one of only two high schools to offer Japanese and Ojibwe.

Roosevelt's five Small Learning Communities (SLCs) offer students rigorous curriculum such as advanced placement courses to make students competitive among technical college and university applicants with students earning free college credits while still in school.

Through the SLC structure, learning and achievement is optimized as it makes high school feel smaller and more personal with students in each SLC becoming peers who share the same interests. All SLC students must pass challenging classes to meet the graduation requirements set by the school district and the state.

Tony Schaden, Allison Chapman, and Colin Cureton are Admission Possible's AmeriCorps Coaches at Roosevelt High School, and Bethany Albrecht is their Senior Program Manager.
