In 2002, Sarah began her Admission Possible experience as a workstudy student while attending Macalester College. After receiving her B.A. in sociology in 2004, she coached the Class of ’05 seniors at Harding High School in St. Paul, learning more about college admissions and financial aid as an Admission Possible AmeriCorps member than she ever did while she was a student herself! Once her 38 Harding students graduated, Sarah worked for some time in the areas of membership and database at the Citizens League, a non-partisan organization in St. Paul that brings citizens together to find policy solutions.

After completing a 7-month adventure in Iowa, Sarah returned to Minnesota and to Admission Possible, this time in the capacity of Communications Coordinator. She is pleased to have the task of spreading the news about Admission Possible far and wide, and enjoys working with so many wonderful people!

When she’s not at Admission Possible, Sarah might be found spending time with her husband or her friends, emailing her sister in Seattle, or calling her parents in Maine. Though she remains loyal to St. Paul, Sarah and her husband now live in Hopkins and have found many pleasant suprises as they begin to explore the western side of the metro area.
