Sarah Tuttle (Harding, 2003-2004) is serving her first Teach for America term in Gaston, North Carolina. She teaches Social Justice at the Knowledge Is Power Program Pride High School.
Janet Bertok (Events Programming AmeriCorps, 2004-2005) is currently working in admissions at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
Ryan Black (Patrick Henry, 2001-2002) graduated from the University of Minnesota and is currently a third year PhD student in Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis.
Emma Hansen (Johnson, 2004-2005) is entering her final year of law school at Tulane Law School in New Orleans and is currently in a summer associate position with Schulte, Roth & Zabel, a law firm in New York City.
Brooke Hanson (Alumni Programming AmeriCorps*VISTA, 2004-2005) will begin as a Program Coordinator at Admission Possible in July of 2007.
Seng Vang (Patrick Henry, 2004-2005) is serving as a missionary in Niger, West Africa and working to produce an oral Bible in the language of the Fulani people who live there.
Cassie Jackson (Patrick Henry, 2001-2002) is teaching eleventh and twelfth grade English at Brainerd High School in rural Minnesota.
Will Conrad (Central, 2005-2006) is studying pharmacology at the University of Washington, Seattle and working to develop a non-hormonal male birth-control pill.
Danielle Ricard (Communications and Resource AmeriCorps*VISTA, 2004-2005) returned to Minnesota after attending the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is working for Campfire USA.
Brian Kevin (North, 2002-2003) spent his last couple years in Minneapolis doing freelance feature writing for magazines and working as a junior editor at Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. While he continues to do some freelance magazine writing/editing, his primary focus is on his studies. Brian is a grad student at the University of Montana in Missoula working on a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. He intends to graduate in the spring of 2008.
Chuayi Yang (formerly Chuayi Thao) (Johnson, 2001-2003) is working as the Assistant Director in the St. Kate’s Multicultural and International Programs and Services Office.
Samuel Museus (Johnson, 2003-2004) is a PhD Candidate & Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Pennsylvania State University. He’s studying higher education policy and administration; his research is focused on college access and success among underrepresented students.
Krista Jenkins (Southwest, 2001-2003) is living in St. Louis and working as a research analyst at the city’s juvenile court.
Elizabeth Severance (Highland Park, 2003-2004) is living in San Antonio, Texas and serving as a VISTA with the Texas Higher Education Commissioning Board and Communities in Schools.
John Lindquist (North, 2004-2005 & 2005-2006) is currently teaching high school math in the Bronx through Teach for America.
Bidisha Bhattacharyya (Roosevelt, 2004-2005 & 2005-2006) is currently enrolled in Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
Theresa Song (Central, 2004-2005 & 2005-2006) is currently teaching English in Korea.
