The Page Education Foundation staff has been most gracious to me and, as a result, are the people that stand out to me most. They have empowered me to take control of my destiny and have believed in me more than most and deserve credit for their efforts. My deepest thanks goes out to them for making me realize that I can achieve anything that I set my mind to.

Katelyn Riley (Southwest '05) US Air Force Academy I have a mentor through my Bible Study group who has taken me in during hard times and been my mother away from home. She is always there for me and totally understands me and what I go through as a female cadet at the Air Force Academy. Her morals and advice have left a lasting impression on me. I will never forget her because she has helped me grow and mature so much.
Seng Moua (Highland Park '05) St. Olaf College My biology teacher freshman year had a tremendous impact on me because he cared about me and my education. To start, he gave us everything that we needed to know about the course, including tips, and he even made a workshop for the class because he knew it would be hard on us. And, although I hardly spoke at all in class and didn't go talk to him but once, he somehow remembered me by name.

I appreciate how my Intercultural Communications professor valued each student in | | Victoria Vang | my class of forty and made us feel important and unique by learning our names and a little something about each of us. So often we’re just counted as numbers and then we forget that we possess unique characteristics that make each of us different and important. I want to thank my professor for letting me know that I am not just a number.

The Dean of Students and her secretary are so amazing that it’s difficult to transcribe feelings into words. They have gone out of their way to love and care for every student, always providing words of encouragement and motivation. I can’t count the multiple times they have helped me through tragic times and found ways to make things work or, at least, to give me hope. They have built my confidence, supported me and assured me that I belong in college, and affirmed my decision in choosing a private college; their efforts make a world of difference.
Demitrea Kelley (Patrick Henry '06) Purdue University
While attending Purdue University, I met a woman who has become an inspiration to me. She approaches everyone with kindness and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed while also motivating them with her stories of determination and success. She has helped me, through trying college years, to take responsibility for myself and to develop into an adult.
